It is my privilege to welcome you to the Society of Foreign Consuls in New York. Founded in 1925, the Society brings together the consular corps of this remarkable city in a spirit of cooperation, friendship and shared service. Over the past century our members have supported one another in protocol and practice, and worked closely with the authorities of the City and State of New York. Whether you are a newly arrived consul, a long-standing member or a friend of the consular community, I invite you to explore our activities and to join us.
The Society
Founded in 1925 and incorporated under the laws of the State of New York, the Society is one of the oldest consular associations in the United States.
